Lai-Peng has more than 30 years' experience in the food industry having worked in and with a wide variety of food sectors, including sugar products, breakfast cereals, condiments, non alcoholic beverages, foodservice, food warehousing, co-packing and food retail. She has also operated her own food safety and quality consultancy business for the past 18 years.
Lai-Peng has a strong quality management and food safety background, including food safety and quality management experience in some of New Zealand’s largest and well known manufacturers. She has developed and implemented numerous international food safety standards, including BRC, SQF, FSSC 22000, AIB, and retailer standards such as Woolworths and Coles.
Lai-Peng's approach is friendly, professional, pragmatic, and with a focus on identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. She speaks Cantonese and English.
